Multisourcing has its own set of challenges. With more people from different organizations on board, conflicts are bound to arise. The complex nature of these conflicts calls for specialized resolution strategies, which means more effort for the client managers. This webinar attempts to showcase the use of system dynamics as a tool to facilitate conflict mitigation. The study is based on the case of a company from the information technology industry using multisourcing. A brief overview of the shift from outsourcing to multisourcing and the challenges faced is presented to understand the evolution and context. Thereafter interview based exploratory methods and system dynamics based analytical methods are used to prioritize the challenges, gauge the effectiveness of the conflict resolution strategies used by managers and make recommendation based on the system dynamics model.
